Deputy Regional Director, Bill Wornes noted that we, in the Kingston & District Branch, have enormous potential for growth, which will be explored and worked on.
Also noted was the fact there is some concern as to how Branches are run. Presently, each Branch is run fairly autonomously. All Branches should be operating under the same guidelines and, once these guidelines are in place, we will all be run in the same way.

Our Branch mandate is to assist our members with their pension and benefits questions. Marlyn Convery looks after health & benefits, and is assisted by Gilbert Wilcox .

Our “Branch Report” in the February issue of ON GUARD contained an impassioned plea for someone to act as Branch secretary. Fortunately, Lois heard our plea and has come forward to fill this vacancy.
