A bill for the publication of our ad in the Military Family Supplement
of the Whig Standard for the sum of $238.35 was received and paid.
(b)
A bill for an upgrade of the File Transfer program for the upkeep of
our web site for the sum of $30.70 was presented and paid

Past President: Proposed slate for the new year is coming along nicely but we need a candidate for the position of Secretary
Treasurer:
Nancy
Moore from Brockville will be preparing a Statement of Financial
Position for the year 2008. This statement will be presented at
the AGM and attached to our Branch Annual Report to the National
Office.
An Audit Committee will also be convened under the direction of Jim Spencer.
The Branch finances are healthy.
Secretary: Nil report.
Membership: No change from last month.
Health and benefits: Arliss is unable to attend but reports no difficulties.

Communications: Our new broadcast system will be up and running in a week to ten days.
Branch Report: Walter Veley is looking for ideas for the Summer report.

8. Unfinished business:
The final donation to the ANAF Club is still to be resolved
9. New Business:
(a) 30 day plan:
Preliminary work done on the budget
andthe AGM member package.On the 8 and 9th of April there is a
training course for the WMS program at Loyalist College.President Ron expects to attend with VP
Barb.
(b) 60 day plan:

May there is a regional meeting in Trenton at the Holliday Inn on Glen Miller
Road.
Resolutions that will be put before the Annual Congress will be discussed.
(c) 90 days and beyond:
Arliss
to attend HBO training on 26 May.
National Congress of Presidents will be held in Ottawa 21/22 June 2009.Approval was sought for Luc
and Barb to attend the Congress as observers with expenses paid. Proposed by
Bill Wornes and seconded by noel Coward that their attendance be approved. CARRIED.
BBQ
11 Aug ’09; Fall outreach 28 Oct.
Arrangements
will be made to lay wreaths at war memorials on Remembrance Day again this year.
