The 7 Resolutions that were adopted were reviewed for the
information of the members of the Board.
Vice president, Ops:
Reported that Noel has been investigating the possibility of a
trip to the War Museum in Ottawa and will report to the Board.
Secretary: Position Vacant
Treasurer:
The amended Financial Reports for the months of April and
May 2009 were presented and include Reserve Funds as approved in
the minutes of the AGM of 21 April 2009.
The July Financial Report showing the balance as of 25 July 09 to
be $37,657.11 is to be corrected to show a balance of $35,983.07
Membership: Report
was circulated and show a membership of 3,769.
Branch Report: All items for the Winter report are to be sent to Walter by 15 October 2009.
Activities:
Noel reported that the arrangements are in place for the Autumn
Outreach to be held in Westport on 27 October 2009. The
information for the pending bus trip to the War Museum in Ottawa will
be published in the Winter issue of On Guard. The cost of the bus
will be $1,260, entry to the Museum is $10 for seniors, no charge for
veterans.
Health and benefits:
Since May 09, 14 calls have been received and replied to. A
report from the H & B training conducted in May in Barrie has been
tabled and is on file, available upon request.
