The Executive Team kicked-off its 2005 mandate with a telephone survey of members throughout the District who indicated their willingness at the AGM to help the branch occasionally. We are very encouraged with the enthusiasm and response we received. Please assist us in reaching out to other members by volunteering one hour a week.

At the January meeting, Ron Henderson, Vice President Marketing & Recruiting, tabled a very ambitious, but doable, calendar of activities for the membership. Kindly, review the calendar included in this report for an event in your area. Your executive team wants to meet and to hear from you about FSNA.

Marlyn Convery – Vice-President, Benefits & Finance, moved quickly in the first quarter, in cooperation with Jim Spencer – Treasurer, to meet our auditors and develop an accountability system with a clear audit trail – “we are on budget after the first quarter ending December 31, 2004.”

I encourage all members to read the other sections of this report to become acquainted with the many programs your executive team has planned for you.

P.S. Details are now finalized for our next “Outreach Luncheon”. It will be held at the COVE Country Inn in Westport, 11:30 a.m., 19 April 2005. It should be a great time of year to enjoy lunch along the Rideau, and promises to be another enjoyable opportunity to meet with members. Seating is somewhat limited so be sure to get your name in early for a spot – look for the member response formon this report.
